Pax Romana is no more.
Flame and ash sweeps the land.
The Deus have forsaken us.
We live, yet we are not alive.
We thrive, yet we do not breathe.
We love, yet our hearts do not beat.
The Respiratio fear us and hunt us.
The Vorax call us and beckon us.
The Esuries drives us and taunts us.
You are not dead and yet not truly alive. For three days you lay in darkness only to return to this burning land. You are Maledictus. You must resist The Esuries, the unquenchable hunger that shakes your spirit, lest you become Vorax, an insatiable creature that consumes all in its path.
Memento Mori, Mors vincit omnia, sed Mors non est finis.
